I’m rolling. Literally. So much appreciation to everyone in 2023, and let’s continue to work hard and have fun in 2024. Updates needed, yes, for certain. The availability calendar has been updated to include times from only 212 Pilates, Paradigm Pilates, and Physiologic. I officially want to promote my mentor and friend Shari Berkowitz of The Vertical Workshop. Her messaging, teaching, and damn awesome energy have been extremely influential to me and helped create a lot of my success. Please check her out and maybe you’ll see me in one of her virtual classes.

GROUP REFORMER CLASSES in Brooklyn at Pilates by Simona!

Simona is fantastic, and so is her studio which she took over, going on her second year now. I teach group reformer classes on Fridays at 5:30-6:30, and Sundays 12:30-1:30. Click on the link above and there will be a way to sign up for classes through MindBody. I’ll be doing a theme for a month (thanks to Shari) and whether you make the first or last, you will be welcome, challenged, and learn!

Virtual class from 7:30am - 8:25am. Faster paced and not meant for beginners to Pilates method.

Suggested good working knowledge of Pilates.

Typically from 9:15am - 10:10am, but sometimes every now and then at 8:00am or 10:00am.

That's my favorite quote.  I take a tough, but compassionate approach and pay attention to the needs of my client(s).  When you need to feel muscles during a movement, or find a modification to stay safe, or find a new mode to access a movement, I'm there to help.  Other times taking the details out and letting the body move freely, and safely, can benefit you through empowerment.

 

Focused Movements

While I aim to make each session with clients focused for their needs and goals, I also do my diligence in studying up and understanding anatomy.  The body is like a puzzle to me sometimes, through which I sequence in movements or stretches that help clients progress, and link piece to piece to increase efficacy. Aside from seeing people's body change, it is awesome to watch the body connect, learn, and progress. My training stems from Balanced Body University and Shari Berkowitz’s The Vertical Workshop.
